The Ministry of HELPS at Faith Christian Center Church is the consolidation of various groups of born again, Spirit-filled believers. These groups form a nucleus surrounding the Pastor and his Ministerial Team to aid them in bringing to pass the God-given vision for FCC. By participating in the Ministry of HELPS, you can assist in meeting the operational needs of the Ministry and the spiritual needs of God’s people.

General requirements for participating in the Ministry of HELPS are:

1. One must be a full-fledged member (Membership Classes completed) in good standing, having become born again, and baptized in water.

2. One must be living a lifestyle that is consistent with Christian principles, the vision, and the rules and regulations governing the HELPS Ministries.   One cannot participate in any of the HELPS Ministries if one has not gained victory in the areas of smoking, drinking, narcotics, and/or illegitimate sexual habits.

3. One must have the temperament and capability of performing the duties that have been established for the particular HELPS Ministry to which application is made.

4. One must be in attendance at the scheduled meeting established for the HELPS Ministry to which is made.

5. One must support the ministry, both prayerfully and financially.

  • ALTAR CALL/OUTREACH MINISTRY 

Requirements/Training : Participate in soul winning such as street witnessing.   Minister to altar call respondents.   Must complete training session.   Commitment: Required Saturday for street witnessing on scheduled dates.   Altar Call: Must be available on scheduled Sunday, Wednesday, and special services.

  • CLERK DEPARTMENT

Requirements/Training: Responsible for the documentation of Membership Class attendance. Various other clerical duties as assigned.  Commitment: Must be available on scheduled Sunday & Wednesday.   Will involve some Saturdays.

  • FAITH FOOD STORE

Requirements/Training: Assist with the sale of FFS merchandise and SEC events.   Commitment: Must be available after service on scheduled Sunday & Wednesday and as needed for special events.

  • FIRST RESPONSE TEAM

Requirements/Training: Assist persons needing basic first aid and other basic physical assistance. Must possess a current CPR certification.   Doctors, nurses, EMT’s & medical assistants.

  • HEARING IMPAIRED MINISTRY

Requirements/Training: Assist in the communication to those who are physically challenged.

  • YOUTH LEADER

Requirements/Training: Assist in ministering the Word of God to youth grades 6-12 on Wednesday evenings. Must complete training session.  Commitment: Must be available on scheduled Wednesday. Will involve some Friday evenings and Saturdays for special outings and events.   An observation day is required.

  • KIDSCOPE

Requirements/Training: Assist in ministering the Word of God to children grades Pre K-5 during regular service times and special outings.   Must complete training session.    Commitment: Must be available on scheduled Sunday & Wednesday. Will involve Friday evenings and Saturdays for special outings and events.   An observation day is required.

  • NURSERY

Requirements/Training: Assist in caring for and ministering the Word of God to infants and toddlers. Must complete training session.   Commitment: Must be available on scheduled Sunday & Wednesday and as needed for special events.   An observation day is required.

  • MEDIA DEPARTMENT

(Tape Ministry, Broadcast, TV, Production, Internet, Radio, Graphics & Marketing)
Requirements/Training: Responsible for monitoring soundboard & sound equipment during services, videotaping, editing messages for radio/television, filling tape/video orders and promoting the gospel through media outreach.  Commitment: Must be available on scheduled Sunday & Wednesday and as needed for special events.

  • MUSIC DEPARTMENT (CHOIR)

Requirements/Training: Ministry of the Word in song during services.  Commitment: Must be available for weekly rehearsals and to serve on scheduled Sundays.

  • MUSIC DEPARTMENT (INSTRUMENT)

Requirements/Training: Ministry of music during services.

Commitment: Must be available for weekly rehearsals and to serve on scheduled Sundays.

  • PARKING LOT MINISTRY 

Requirements/Training: Assist in parking cars & maintaining smooth traffic flow before and after services.    Commitment: Must be available on scheduled Sunday & Wednesday and as needed for special events.

  • TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY

Requirements/Training: Responsible for family transportation.    Must meet all Ministry of Helps requirements.    Commitment: Transportation provided for Sunday 10 A.M., service only.   Must have a clean driving record & class “D” license for a 15-passenger van.

  • USHER/HOSTESS

Requirements/Training: Responsible for greeting parishioners and maintaining order in the sanctuary, enabling the Word of God to go forth unhindered.   Commitment: Must be available on scheduled Sunday & Wednesday and as needed for special events.

  • VOLUNTEER MAINTENANCE

Requirements/Training: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the church interior & grounds.    Commitment: Must be available after service on scheduled Sunday & Wednesday and other days as needed
